get_template#

SES.Client.get_template(**kwargs)#

Displays the template object (which includes the Subject line, HTML part and text part) for the template you specify.

You can execute this operation no more than once per second.

Request Syntax

    TemplateName='string'
)
Parameters:

TemplateName (string) –

[REQUIRED]

The name of the template you want to retrieve.

Response Structure

  • (dict) –

    • Template (dict) –

      The content of the email, composed of a subject line, an HTML part, and a text-only part.

      • TemplateName (string) –

        The name of the template. You will refer to this name when you send email using the SendTemplatedEmail or SendBulkTemplatedEmail operations.

      • SubjectPart (string) –

        The subject line of the email.

      • TextPart (string) –

        The email body that will be visible to recipients whose email clients do not display HTML.

      • HtmlPart (string) –

        The HTML body of the email.
