class DynamoDB.Waiter.TableNotExists

waiter = client.get_waiter('table_not_exists')

wait(**kwargs)

Polls DynamoDB.Client.describe_table() every 20 seconds until a successful state is reached. An error is returned after 25 failed checks.

Request Syntax

waiter.wait(
    TableName='string',
    WaiterConfig={
        'Delay': 123,
        'MaxAttempts': 123
    }
)

Parameters:

• TableName (string) –

  [REQUIRED]

  The name of the table to describe.

• WaiterConfig (dict) –

  A dictionary that provides parameters to control waiting behavior.

  • Delay (integer) –

    The amount of time in seconds to wait between attempts. Default: 20

  • MaxAttempts (integer) –

    The maximum number of attempts to be made. Default: 25
