get_savings_plans_coverage#
- CostExplorer.Client.get_savings_plans_coverage(**kwargs)#
- Retrieves the Savings Plans covered for your account. This enables you to see how much of your cost is covered by a Savings Plan. An organization’s management account can see the coverage of the associated member accounts. This supports dimensions, Cost Categories, and nested expressions. For any time period, you can filter data for Savings Plans usage with the following dimensions: - LINKED_ACCOUNT
- REGION
- SERVICE
- INSTANCE_FAMILY

- TimePeriod (dict) – - [REQUIRED] - The time period that you want the usage and costs for. The - Startdate must be within 13 months. The- Enddate must be after the- Startdate, and before the current date. Future dates can’t be used as an- Enddate.- Start (string) – [REQUIRED] - The beginning of the time period. The start date is inclusive. For example, if - startis- 2017-01-01, Amazon Web Services retrieves cost and usage data starting at- 2017-01-01up to the end date. The start date must be equal to or no later than the current date to avoid a validation error.
- End (string) – [REQUIRED] - The end of the time period. The end date is exclusive. For example, if - endis- 2017-05-01, Amazon Web Services retrieves cost and usage data from the start date up to, but not including,- 2017-05-01.
 
- GroupBy (list) – - You can group the data using the attributes - INSTANCE_FAMILY,- REGION, or- SERVICE.- (dict) – - Represents a group when you specify a group by criteria or in the response to a query with a specific grouping. - Type (string) – - The string that represents the type of group. 
- Key (string) – - The string that represents a key for a specified group. 
 
 
- Granularity (string) – - The granularity of the Amazon Web Services cost data for your Savings Plans. - Granularitycan’t be set if- GroupByis set.- The - GetSavingsPlansCoverageoperation supports only- DAILYand- MONTHLYgranularities.
- Filter (dict) – - Filters Savings Plans coverage data by dimensions. You can filter data for Savings Plans usage with the following dimensions: - LINKED_ACCOUNT
- REGION
- SERVICE
- INSTANCE_FAMILY
 - GetSavingsPlansCoverageuses the same Expression object as the other operations, but only- ANDis supported among each dimension. If there are multiple values for a dimension, they are OR’d together.- Cost category is also supported. - Or (list) – - Return results that match either - Dimensionobject.- (dict) – - Use - Expressionto filter in various Cost Explorer APIs.- Not all - Expressiontypes are supported in each API. Refer to the documentation for each specific API to see what is supported.- There are two patterns: - Simple dimension values. - There are three types of simple dimension values: - CostCategories,- Tags, and- Dimensions.- Specify the - CostCategoriesfield to define a filter that acts on Cost Categories.
