OpsWorks.ServiceResource.stacks#

A collection of Stack resources.A Stack Collection will include all resources by default, and extreme caution should be taken when performing actions on all resources.

all()#

Creates an iterable of all Stack resources in the collection.

Request Syntax

stack_iterator = opsworks.stacks.all()

Return type:: list(opsworks.Stack)
Returns:: A list of Stack resources

filter(**kwargs)#

Creates an iterable of all Stack resources in the collection filtered by kwargs passed to method. A Stack collection will include all resources by default if no filters are provided, and extreme caution should be taken when performing actions on all resources.

Request Syntax

stack_iterator = opsworks.stacks.filter(
    StackIds=[
        'string',
    ]
)

Parameters:

StackIds (list) –

An array of stack IDs that specify the stacks to be described. If you omit this parameter, and have permissions to get information about all stacks, DescribeStacks returns a description of every stack. If the IAM policy that is attached to an IAM user limits the DescribeStacks action to specific stack ARNs, this parameter is required, and the user must specify a stack ARN that is allowed by the policy. Otherwise, DescribeStacks returns an AccessDenied error.

Return type:

list(opsworks.Stack)

Returns:

A list of Stack resources

limit(**kwargs)#

Creates an iterable up to a specified amount of Stack resources in the collection.

stack_iterator = opsworks.stacks.limit(
    count=123
)

Parameters:: count (integer) – The limit to the number of resources in the iterable.
Return type:: list(opsworks.Stack)
Returns:: A list of Stack resources

page_size(**kwargs)#

Creates an iterable of all Stack resources in the collection, but limits the number of items returned by each service call by the specified amount.

Parameters:: count (integer) – The number of items returned by each service call
Return type:: list(opsworks.Stack)
