EC2.Client.unmonitor_instances(**kwargs)#

Disables detailed monitoring for a running instance. For more information, see Monitoring your instances and volumes in the Amazon EC2 User Guide.

Request Syntax

    InstanceIds=[

    DryRun=True|False
)
Parameters:
  • InstanceIds (list) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The IDs of the instances.

    • (string) –

  • DryRun (boolean) – Checks whether you have the required permissions for the operation, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

Response Structure

  • (dict) –

    • InstanceMonitorings (list) –

      The monitoring information.

      • (dict) –

        Describes the monitoring of an instance.

        • InstanceId (string) –

          The ID of the instance.

        • Monitoring (dict) –

          The monitoring for the instance.

          • State (string) –

            Indicates whether detailed monitoring is enabled. Otherwise, basic monitoring is enabled.
