Retrieves details about an authentication method used by an application.

Request Syntax
response = client.get_application_authentication_method( ApplicationArn='string', AuthenticationMethodType='IAM' )
- Parameters:
ApplicationArn (string) –
[REQUIRED]
Specifies the ARN of the application.
AuthenticationMethodType (string) –
[REQUIRED]
Specifies the type of authentication method for which you want details.

A structure that contains details about the requested authentication method.
Note
This is a Tagged Union structure. Only one of the following top level keys will be set:
Iam
. If a client receives an unknown member it will setSDK_UNKNOWN_MEMBER
as the top level key, which maps to the name or tag of the unknown member. The structure ofSDK_UNKNOWN_MEMBER
is as follows:'SDK_UNKNOWN_MEMBER': {'name': 'UnknownMemberName'}
