Adds or updates an authentication method for an application.

Request Syntax
response = client.put_application_authentication_method( ApplicationArn='string', AuthenticationMethod={ 'Iam': { 'ActorPolicy': {...}|[...]|123|123.4|'string'|True|None } }, AuthenticationMethodType='IAM' )
- Parameters:
ApplicationArn (string) –
[REQUIRED]
Specifies the ARN of the application with the authentication method to add or update.
AuthenticationMethod (dict) –
[REQUIRED]
Specifies a structure that describes the authentication method to add or update. The structure type you provide is determined by the
AuthenticationMethodType
parameter.Note
This is a Tagged Union structure. Only one of the following top level keys can be set:
Iam
.Iam (dict) –
A structure that describes details for IAM authentication.
ActorPolicy (document) – [REQUIRED]
An IAM policy document in JSON.
AuthenticationMethodType (string) –
[REQUIRED]
Specifies the type of the authentication method that you want to add or update.
