delete_launch_configuration

AutoScaling.Client.delete_launch_configuration(**kwargs)

Deletes the specified launch configuration.

The launch configuration must not be attached to an Auto Scaling group. When this call completes, the launch configuration is no longer available for use.

Request Syntax

response = client.delete_launch_configuration(
    LaunchConfigurationName='string'
)

Parameters:

LaunchConfigurationName (string) –

[REQUIRED]

The name of the launch configuration.

Returns:

None

• AutoScaling.Client.exceptions.ResourceContentionFault

This example deletes the specified launch configuration.
