describe_adjustment_types

AutoScaling.Client.describe_adjustment_types()

Describes the available adjustment types for step scaling and simple scaling policies.

The following adjustment types are supported:

• ChangeInCapacity

• ExactCapacity

• PercentChangeInCapacity

Request Syntax

response = client.describe_adjustment_types()

Response Structure

• (dict) –

  • AdjustmentTypes (list) –

    The policy adjustment types.

    • (dict) –

      Describes a policy adjustment type.

      • AdjustmentType (string) –

        The policy adjustment type. The valid values are ChangeInCapacity, ExactCapacity, and PercentChangeInCapacity.

Exceptions

• AutoScaling.Client.exceptions.ResourceContentionFault
