evaluate_expression#

DataPipeline.Client.evaluate_expression(**kwargs)#

Task runners call EvaluateExpression to evaluate a string in the context of the specified object. For example, a task runner can evaluate SQL queries stored in Amazon S3.

Request Syntax

    pipelineId='string',
    objectId='string',
    expression='string'
)
Parameters:
  • pipelineId (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The ID of the pipeline.

  • objectId (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The ID of the object.

  • expression (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The expression to evaluate.

    Contains the output of EvaluateExpression.

      The evaluated expression.
