class EKS.Waiter.AddonActive

waiter = client.get_waiter('addon_active')

wait(**kwargs)

Polls EKS.Client.describe_addon() every 10 seconds until a successful state is reached. An error is raised after 60 failed checks.

Request Syntax

waiter.wait(
    clusterName='string',
    addonName='string',
    WaiterConfig={
        'Delay': 123,
        'MaxAttempts': 123
    }
)

Parameters:

• clusterName (string) –

  [REQUIRED]

  The name of your cluster.

• addonName (string) –

  [REQUIRED]

  The name of the add-on. The name must match one of the names returned by ListAddons.

• WaiterConfig (dict) –

  A dictionary that provides parameters to control waiting behavior.

  • Delay (integer) –

    The amount of time in seconds to wait between attempts. Default: 10

  • MaxAttempts (integer) –

    The maximum number of attempts to be made. Default: 60
