tag_resource

MailManager.Client.tag_resource(**kwargs)

Adds one or more tags (keys and values) to a specified resource.

Request Syntax

response = client.tag_resource(
    ResourceArn='string',
    Tags=[
        {
            'Key': 'string',
            'Value': 'string'
        },
    ]
)

Parameters:

• ResourceArn (string) –

  [REQUIRED]

  The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the resource that you want to tag.

• Tags (list) –

  [REQUIRED]

  The tags used to organize, track, or control access for the resource. For example, { “tags”: {“key1”:”value1”, “key2”:”value2”} }.

  • (dict) –

    A key-value pair (the value is optional), that you can define and assign to Amazon Web Services resources.

    • Key (string) – [REQUIRED]

      The key of the key-value tag.

    • Value (string) – [REQUIRED]

      The value of the key-value tag.
