waiter = client.get_waiter('component_deployed')

wait(**kwargs)¶

Polls Proton.Client.get_component() every 5 seconds until a successful state is reached. An error is raised after 999 failed checks.

Danger

This operation is deprecated and may not function as expected. This operation should not be used going forward and is only kept for the purpose of backwards compatiblity.

Request Syntax

waiter.wait(
    name='string',
    WaiterConfig={
        'Delay': 123,
        'MaxAttempts': 123
    }
)

Parameters:

name (string) –
[REQUIRED]

The name of the component that you want to get the detailed data for.
WaiterConfig (dict) –
A dictionary that provides parameters to control waiting behavior.
- Delay (integer) –
  
  The amount of time in seconds to wait between attempts. Default: 5
- MaxAttempts (integer) –
  
  The maximum number of attempts to be made. Default: 999
